Fun in January...
|
|
It's already mid-January... wow, time does fly really fast. I'd have to go back to Melbourne really soon...
A few things happened this month....
A cousin of mine died in a tragic accident early this month. We went back to Sabak to visit my aunt's family. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raaji'uun.... May God bless his soul..
And then there was Eidul-Adha. My relatives came to pay a visit since my grandma lives with us. It was fun, having to meet all of them... And having so much food to eat too! I even visited Laily's mum in Selayang. And the next 2 days, Laily's mum came to return the visit.
Sleepover. Aliaa and Mai came over to my house. The next day we went to Sungai Chongkak. I think it has been more than a year and a half since we last met each other. Now that everyone has grown apart, it's kinda hard to meet with each other anymore.
Then, my cousin came to pay us a visit. Bringing his son that I have never met too, since he lives in Sabah. He is super cute!! Montel!! And he laughed hysterically everytime I blew on his belly... OooOOooh.. I love babies!!

Mari2 ke Sungai Chongkak bersama keluarga dan saudara-mara! Ahaks...
Well, not knowing what to do at home...
My sisters and I decided to go for a swim at Chongkak River
which is actually just about 5 minutes drive from home.
It was pouring a bit, but what the heck~!
We don't care.... Into the river we go..!!!

Program Anak Angkat at Pangkor Island
|
|
The 3-day family program was memorable. Together with Nadia and Shinaz, we were given to a family angkat. The family is a small family. Kak Seni, is our mother 'angkat'. However, she insisted we cal her kak since she's quite young. After all, it is more comfortable for us too!
Her adorable daughters are Azrin Inani and Hanis. These 2 naughty girls are quite a handful even for us. However, they are the reason it was quite hard for me to leave that island. Maybe I'll visit Pangkor again. I would love to in fact. I can still can hear Hanis' voice in my head, "Kakak, kalau kakak tak datang kat sini tengok kita, kita tak mau kawan kakak dah.."
Thanks for the hospitality Kak Seni... Missing ya'll much!

Re-orientation at Trolak Country Resort, Sungkai
|
|
I am back!! Yay! You guys must have missed me loads.. ahaks..
Well, I have been away for a while... for some serious brain-washing by PETRONAS.
It was well... OOooOOkaY laa I guess. I had fun hanging around with my friends actually.
We all come from all over the country, studying in both New Zealand and Australia.
It was kinda fun to be able to meet all of them again after a few years.
We had lectures, seminars, team building, karaoke-ing and heaps more..
I was even too busy to give my parents a call.. (teruk betol...)
Anyway, I should say that I am so grateful to PETRONAS for the opportunity to participate in this kinda program. Well, though I complain much... it was actually quite okay anyway.
Enjoy the pictures!

Sabak Bernam kampung-ku...
|
|
I think it has been quite a while since the last time I went back to my 'kampung' in Sabak Bernam.
Oh my, the amount of little children increases by 100%!!
I hardly know who's who anymore. There was this one time I had to call the eldest child...
asked him to sit down next to me and made him tell me the names of all his siblings and who his parents are! Fancy that!!
My cousins and my cousins' children mingle around with each other... They are all among the same age anyway. It's really funny when it comes to explaining that the 3-year-old girl is actually the aunt of the 6-year-old boy.
Usually I would not want to spend a long time in 'kampung'. But this time was different. I actually love it. I wanted to spend more time with the kids but I couldn't. I had to go to Sungkai for the PETRONAS thingy. It is so soothing to see the little girls waking up as early as 6 a.m in the morning to perform Suboh prayers (even I don't wake up as early as that! ).
Well, that's my 'kampung' alright...

| Quote: | Dear Friends & Foes,
You are welcome to the page. It's for public viewing after all especially for those who want their pictures.
For those who do not like what they see in this page, kindly please LEAVE!
I appreciate your effort and kindness for all those reminders for me. Will definitely keep them in mind.
I do not welcome any foul language in this area, whether it is meant for me or the people I care about.
So if you haven't got anything nice to say, and you can't find anything nice to see in this page, may I repeat again... LEAVE INSTANTLY and NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!
I do not need to be in the 99 most popular fotopages anyway.
Thank you. |

A Day At The City With Lyana & Ben
|
|
Christmas is quite far away but the 'Christmas' environment in Melbourne... phew!
It's as if Christmas is only a week away!
The streets are decorated beautifully...
Christmas carols sung on the streets....
MYERS have displayed their "Santa's Kid" theme for the year 2005.
Lyana, Ben and I went for a walk around the city today.... which was pretty WARM!
I tell ya', it's no different from Malaysia. That's why I am coming home!
Got ourselves ice creams and fries, and Lyana's graduation gown...! Yippee!
Congrats to Lyana (by the way, she's my roomie!)
Gonna miss ya heaps when youre gone!
